Dr. Helen H. Chung

Dr. Helen Chung is Assistant Professor of Management in the School of Business, Government and Economics at Seattle Pacific University, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in organizational behavior, human resource management, leadership, teams, and performance management. She is also co-owner and principal of Pathways Coaching and Consulting and works with individuals and teams in the areas of leadership development and effectiveness. She has coached numerous leaders in a variety of organizations and industries, including serving as a leadership coach with the Center for Strategic Leadership and Thinking at the University of Washington. Helen's work as an educator and coach is driven by her passion to build learning organizations and communities where individuals' gifts and differences are integrated into the broader culture.

Dr. Jevon K. Powell

Jevon is a trusted advisor to senior management in a wide variety of industries, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Clients include Starbucks, Mattel, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Eddie Bauer, and many more. His specialties include executive coaching, employee engagement, change management, and team building. The center-point of Jevon's work is helping clients see things from new perspectives. He asks provocative questions that lead to new insights and new behaviors. He began graduate studies at the University of Washington and received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York City. Jevon began his consulting career in 1997 as a staff consultant with RHR International, a leading provider of management psychology services worldwide. He joined Scontrino-Powell in 2001 and is now the owner of the firm. He is also a proud member of Seattle Rotary Club.

Dr. Liz Bernhard

Liz is a trusted talent advisor who makes strong and lasting connections with her clients. She specializes in talent assessment and coaching and is invigorated by helping leaders gain insight and deepen their ability to leverage their own and others' talents. Clients appreciate her empathetic yet direct manner and clear, practical coaching. She completed her undergraduate at The Colorado College and her masters and PhD in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Soon after she moved to the consulting world after seeing the profound dynamic impact of this work on individuals and organizations. Liz has lived and worked in Brazil, the US and Canada and is a licensed psychologist in all three. She has served clients in a variety of industries, including private equity, consumer products, manufacturing, energy, media, and mining and has considerable global experience.

Dr. M. Peter - Founder

Throughout his 40+ year consulting career, Peter has become a widely recognized expert in the application of the principles of I-O psychology. Peter has assisted clients in projects ranging in scope from employee selection and performance appraisal systems to productivity incentive plans. He also has experience in how to effectively involve and develop employees through organization-wide change efforts. Peter has worked with organizations ranging from five person operations to Fortune 100 companies, and has worked globally with clients throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Peter graduated from Seattle University and went on to earn his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology from Michigan State University. He is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington and is a past director of the Washington State Psychological Association and of the Pacific Northwest Organizational Development Network. Born and raised in the State of Washington, he served on the faculties of the University of Washington and Seattle University prior to forming Scontrino-Powell in 1975. Peter has published a number of articles and has co-authored a text on performance appraisal. He also served as an examiner for the Washington State Quality Award.

Dr. Wallace Wilkins

Wally has delivered training programs for the State of Washington, the United States Postal Service, the Boeing Company, Microsoft, Nintendo, and the Washington State Medical Association. Globally, he has served organizations in Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Chile and Malaysia. He is a Master Trainer and Senior Consultant for the Resolution Resource Center. His coaching strategies often focus on reducing aggressive-disruptive behavior. Wally speaks and writes about powerful strategies for individuals and organizations to create low-stress, low-conflict, and high achievement. As a Seattle-based clinical psychologist, he maintains an independent practice serving people with stress, behavior problems, mood problems (e.g., anger, anxiety, depression), and chemical dependencies. Wally is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a Ph.D. degree in psychology. He is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington, currently serving as a clinical psychologist, conflict mediator, and leadership coach. Prior to working as a counselor and consultant, Wally held several academic positions where his responsibilities included organization development, training program administration, research, and graduate and undergraduate teaching. Wally has over 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals and over 30 presentations at professional meetings on stress prevention, conflict mediation, organizational advancement, and psychological treatments.

Mariko Harman

Mariko appreciates the profound impact the science of psychology can have on helping people flourish in the workplace. Mariko has a background in Strategic Planning and Insights. She holds an Executive Leadership Certificate and an MBA from Seattle University. She has worked at Merrill Lynch and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. She has consulted with companies including Microsoft, Target, Starbucks, Pokémon, and Chevron. In addition to her consulting work, she is a doctoral student at Seattle Pacific University studying Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
