AMY HAUPERT

Amy Haupert earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University in 1991 and taught kindergarten for two years before deciding to change careers and go to law school. She received her law degree from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, in 1996. During the summer of her first year of law school, Amy backpacked across Europe with friends, making a three-week stop in Salzburg, Austria where she completed a course in International Law taught by Supreme Court Justice, Anthony Kennedy. Amy served on the Executive Board of the Trusts and Estate section of the Orange County Bar Association for six years and is the past 2010 President of the Board. She is very involved with the Orange County Bar Association and serves on various committees. Amy is a regular speaker at various venues, including Alzheimer's Association workshops and Senior Center events. She assists new lawyers in making the transition from law school to the actual practice of law by participating in and speaking at the annual Bridging the Gap programs. Amy is a member of both the Elder Law and Trusts and Estate sections of the Orange County Bar Association and was accepted as a member of the Cambridge Who's Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs. Amy is a West Coast native, growing up in a large, close-knit family in Laguna Niguel, California. She enjoys traveling, back-packing/hiking, participating in mini-triathlons, and spending time with her family and friends. She is currently kept very busy outside of the office trying to keep up with her much loved niece and nephews. Amy's current practice areas include estate planning, trust administration, probate, limited Conservatorships and elder law.
