My carpentry journey began when I left Ireland for New York in 1987 where I began, and completed, my 5 year apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery. Over the course of my 10 years in the USA I worked for several large construction companies in all aspects of joinery and fine carpentry... I returned to Ireland in 1997 where I worked for several Galway based companies as a senior carpenter before setting up my own company in 2008. In 2011, I relocated to Perth, Western Australia... Aidan O\'Kennedy - a highly skilled carpenter based in Perth, Western Australia, with over 30 years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke furniture.
