Renewable Energy Technology International AB (Renewtec AB) was founded on the 1 st of April 2012 with Dr. Jörgen Held as managing director. Dr. Held has a long record within the energy sector as the former managing director of the Swedish Gas Technology Centre, the head of research at CEDER/CIEMAT in Spain, research manager at the Swedish Energy Agency, PhD in fluid mechanics and MSc in energy technology. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the European Biogas Association. In 2017 he became the executive managing director of the Baltic Energy Innovation Centre... Renewtec AB is a member of the European Biogas Association and, together with Lituanian Energy Institute and Institute for Biogas, Waste Management & Energy, the founder of the Baltic Energy Innovation Centre.
