In 1983, Leo Procter embarked on a cross-country journey from New Jersey to California in an old ambulance with the goal of becoming a pool boy in Santa Barbara. He never reached California. On a pit stop in Denver, he stayed with his cousin and built cabinets in exchange for room and board. A neighbor, impressed by his work, asked Leo to build an exhibit. Despite his unfamiliarity with trade shows, Leo's first display was a success, leading to more requests from exhibitors...
