McPherson & McPherson began in Coupeville, Washington, as a mother-daughter general law practice partnership in 1997, when Joan McPherson (mother in the mother-daughter team) joined Molly McPherson after Joan completed her elected term as Superior Court Judge of Island County and San Juan County. Although Joan was the older partner, Molly was the senior partner because she had established a very successful law firm at that time. The two of them developed a well-esteemed law practice based upon mutual respect, regard for the law, straightforward legal advice, and ethical, vigorous legal representation... We are proud of our firm and proud of the beautiful area where we are located, Island County in Washington State. We are in Coupeville on Whidbey Island, the heart of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, which is partnered with the National Park Service.
