Log Cabin is proudly made at our St. Elmo, Illinois, facility where a 2-megawatt solar system sitting on 8 acres was developed/constructed by SolAmerica and owned by Luminace. The system was developed under the state-administered Illinois Shine Initiative. Under the program, the Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) from the system were purchased by Ameren Illinois. In partnership with SolAmerica and Luminace, Log Cabin is working hard to bring large-scale renewable energy to Illinois... Log Cabin has been making delicious syrup for 120 years. Minnesota grocer Patrick J. Towle introduced the brand in 1887, and named it in honor of his childhood hero and true American icon, President Abraham Lincoln.
