Lafranchi Architecture and Development was founded by Ken Lafranchi in 1992. Though he earned a degree in Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, instead of going directly into building design upon graduation, Ken decided to learn the subject "from the ground up", and applied his energy to building construction... After spending a year backpacking around the world and experiencing some of the world's built masterpieces, Ken returned to pursue his passion for architecture and development. Like most successful architectural firms, the Lafranchi team believes that buildings are functional art, and seeks to design and develop structures that add aesthetic value to the community...
