I graduated with the first University of Waterloo's class from the co op economics accounting program that morphed into its School of Accountancy while I was there... What I learned there from all my economic courses affected how I looked at a business. Then after graduation I got to learn from all those smart business owners and operators out there as well as business authors and educators and advocates... Early on in my public practice I began developing frameworks and checklists of practical business know how I called infotools. These were in essence quick reference guides on business topics that represented immediate knowledge and know how requirements for the small business owners I was dealing with.
