Akvile is originally from Lithuania and spent eight enriching years in the Netherlands, where she gained valuable experience exploring diverse cultures and broadening her horizons.
Six years ago, she moved to Calgary, where she now combines her professional mindset, rooted in a background in business management from Lithuania, with a passion for creativity and community service.
In her spare time, Akvile volunteers, dances, and explores various forms of art and poetry. Always eager to learn and try new things, she enjoys crafts and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world.
Brittany attended Lethbridge College in 2017 taking courses to broaden her knowledge in the customer service and business field. Brittany joined Grover Law Firm as their Client Intake Coordinator in 2020. Since then Brittany has applied her skills and experience within customer service to our firm. Outside the office, Brittany spends a lot of her time swimming and reading. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and going hiking in the mountains.
Carly is a Calgarian to the core. She was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and graduated with a Legal Assistant Diploma in 2011. She has been using her knowledge within the frameworks of personal injury since 2018. During her spare time, Carly enjoys hiking, being out doors, and spending time with friends and family.
But Emma's life extends far beyond the polished halls of legal offices. When she's not meticulously navigating the intricacies of legal matters, she's captivating a different audience altogether - as a dance instructor. Haily Edwards is a dedicated professional with a passion for assisting and advocating for individuals in need. Having graduated with a real estate certificate, Haily's career journey began in the dynamic realm of real estate and client relations. With a year of experience in the field, Haily developed a strong foundation in fostering meaningful connections with clients and ensuring their needs were met efficiently.

Housam (Sam) is a lawyer with a passion for justice. He graduated from Mount Royal University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice where he achieved Dean's Honour Roll three times and made the President's List. Sam furthered his education with a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Manitoba. During his free time, Sam enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, sports, physical activities, boating, wakeboarding, and has a keen interest in cars and motorcycles.
Meet Jennifer, the vibrant and efficient Office Administrator at Grover Law Firm since January 2023. With over a decade of experience in office administration, Jennifer is the organizational backbone that keeps the gears turning smoothly. Beyond the confines of the professional world, Jennifer's spirit comes alive through her love for music. Whether she's immersed in the soulful notes of her favorite tunes or harmonizing her own melodies, music is her constant companion. Jennifer's zest for life extends to her passion for staying active, embracing the energy that comes with physical pursuits.

Olukemi (Kemi) Daniel-Ojo grew up surrounded by love and laughter. She is a dual-licenced lawyer who obtained her first degree from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria in 2010 and licensure from the Nigerian Law School in 2011. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2022, after completing her articles with a plaintiff personal injury law firm in Calgary.
Prior to relocating to Canada in 2020, Kemi's practice areas were in litigation, wills and estates, and real estate. As a Public Prosecutor in the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice, she received various commendations for her exceptional performance and was a recipient of the 2020 Attorney General ‘s Award of Excellence.
Kemi is a member of the National Association of Premises Liability Attorneys, the Canada Bar Association (CBA), the Association of Civil Trial Lawyers Association (ACTLA), and the Calgary Bar Association. Aside from law, Kemi is an ardent volunteer and enjoys giving back to the community. She volunteers with the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council (CRIEC) where she serves as a mentor for Internationally trained lawyers. She is the current Vice President, Communications and Events of the Airdrie Black Community (ABC), a non-governmental organization, and also volunteers at her local church community. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for walks, cycling, exploring new attractions, watching movies, and playing board games like Monopoly and Scrabble.
Kevin Todd was born and raised in the community of Nanton, where he proudly raises his own family and continues to reside in the town he calls home. As his family has grown in this rural community, so has his commitment and service to the town and surrounding areas. Kevin has always been an active community member, volunteering with organizations such as the Nanton Futures Foundation, Nanton Promoters, and the Nanton Golf Club.
Having served as a municipal councillor, Kevin has gained significant political experience. His deep sense of community involvement is shared by his wife and daughters, who are also actively engaged in the Nanton community.
Kevin's background spans finance, with a focus on oil and gas, as well as engineering. His keen entrepreneurial spirit takes him across the province and beyond in his professional life. He never misses an opportunity to learn from new people or discuss the importance of getting outdoors and reconnecting with nature. Kevin enjoys outdoor activities, including camping and skiing, and everything in between.
Lance graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2022 with a 2-year Legal Assistant certificate. Outside of work, Lance enjoys physical activities such as boxing, badminton and basketball. He also enjoys video games to help him unwind.
Macey has an extensive background in the insurance industry beginning in 2002. She has worked for several major insurers throughout her career which, during that time she dedicated herself to helping people in their time of need. Her knowledge and experience as an Auto Liability Specialist, Accident Benefit Advisor and most recently Casualty Specialist, allows her to offer a unique understanding of our client's individual needs and experiences. Macey's focus will continue to be on exceeding our clients' expectations and helping them through any challenges they may face.
Macey's other passion is for motorcycles. She enjoys meeting new people within the motorcycle community, attending events and rally's and spends most of her summers riding with friends and family.
Matthew (Matt) Gray is a dedicated and driven student-at-law at Grover Law with a strong interest in all types of litigation. He graduated from the University of Alberta's Campus Saint-Jean in 2015 with a Bachelor of Education and earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law in April 2024.
During his legal studies, Matt volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and Pro Bono Students Canada and served on the executive boards of the University of Calgary OUTLaw Club and the Negotiation Club. He participated in the final round of the 2023 Julius Alexander Isaac Moot, presenting arguments before Supreme Court Justice Mahmud Jamal on Critical Race Theory. In his final year, he also competed in the final round of the 2024 Bastarache Moot, where he argued in French before former Supreme Court Justice Michel Bastarache and was awarded the accolade of best oralist, highlighting his exceptional oral advocacy and persuasive skills.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys engaging in board games, tutoring ESL, hiking, exploring new languages, painting, and tackling DIY home decor projects.
Sasha earned her legal assistant diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2022. Since then, she has broadened her expertise in various areas of law. In 2023, Sasha brought her skills to Grover Law Firm as a Pre-Litigation Assistant. When she's not working, Sasha enjoys spending time with her two cats, exploring new culinary experiences, and unwinding by the water.
Sofia is a dedicated legal assistant with a passion for the legal profession. She was always fascinated by the intricate working of the legal system. Sofia pursued this passion by earning a Diploma in Legal Assistant Studies from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). During her time at SAIT, she excelled academically, consistently demonstrating a deep understanding of legal principles and a strong work ethic. She is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients and ensuring that their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
When not at work, Sofia spends her time volunteering, travelling, playing badminton, and going to farmer's markets. She also enjoys reading, trying new food, and learning new languages. Sofia is fluent in English and Tagalog.
Soubhi is currently an articling student who earned his JD from the University of Calgary. With a strong background in medicine, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge before pursuing law. This unique combination of skills allows Soubhi to offer a deep understanding of clients' injuries when reviewing records. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys reading, gardening, exploring stand-up comedy, and socializing with friends.
Steve has successfully resolved hundreds of cases both outside and inside the Court process. He has appeared in Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, Alberta Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He has also participated in numerous Judicial and Private mediations.
He has presented papers on personal injury law, and recently lectured on medical malpractice issues at the University of Calgary Medical School in the Resident program. He is licensed to practice in Alberta, Nova Scotia, Yukon and North West Territories.
Steve is a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, America Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association), the National Association of Premises Liability Attorneys, Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Section of the American Association for Justice, the Law Society of Yukon, Calgary Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association and is the chairperson for Two Wheel Sunday (held annually the first Sunday of each June) and a chairperson for Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA).
Outside of work Steve is an avid motorcyclist. He also loves to mountain-bike, go to the movies, and travel in his down time.
Summer joined Grover Law Firm in 2022 as a Paralegal.
Summer was born and raised in Edmonton and graduated from Grant MacEwan University. Summer comes with 10 years of experience working exclusively with plaintiff personal injury. She is passionate about building relationships with her clients and assisting them through the difficult challenges they face.
Although she has been living in Calgary for a little over a year, she is already a true Calgarian at heart. Outside of work, Summer likes exploring Calgary, trying out new restaurants, hiking, boxing and travelling. She also enjoys her down time by watching movies/tv shows, and spending time with her family and friends.
Zarmina Sadat is a multi-talented individual who has made significant contributions in the fields of kinesiology, rehabilitation science, and personal injury law. Zarmina's educational foundation was laid at the prestigious University of Alberta, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Her studies focused on human movement, anatomy, physiology, and the science of exercise. Throughout her undergraduate years, Zarmina excelled academically, demonstrating a deep curiosity for understanding the intricacies of the human body and its potential for recovery.
Driven to expand her knowledge and contribute meaningfully to the field, Zarmina pursued graduate studies in Rehabilitation Science. This advanced degree provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of post-accident recovery. Equipped with evidence-based approaches and a compassionate mindset, Zarmina actively engaged with patients in rehabilitation settings, assisting them in reclaiming their physical abilities and enhancing their quality of life. Zarmina's passion for helping individuals recover from accidents and injuries led her to venture into the field of personal injury law.
