ELFANT WISSAHICKON - Key Persons
Raised in a real estate family, Alex inherited a love for the industry, and an entrepreneurial spirit that ultimately drove him to embrace the business as his career. His father was both a broker and a developer, which allowed Alex to understand the business from many different perspectives.

Catherine Gacki-Hartt has a refined but unpretentious eye for the architecture and design details that make that subtle but crucial difference between a house and a home. Enthusiasm for helping others-friends, neighbors, acquaintances-complements her aesthetic sensibility.
Catherine has lived in Chicago, New York City, Seattle, and Detroit before settling in Elkins Park with her husband and two sons. In each of these cities, she pursued volunteer opportunities that connect her to community through creativity. Frequent moves have given her extensive experience as a buyer and seller of real estate as well as an appreciation for all of the work that goes into finding a community, a neighborhood, a home that feels right-along with researching schools and other aspects of life that help a family settle in somewhere new.
Originally from Bay City, MI (remember the Bay City Rollers?), Catherine earned her BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design before embarking on a decade-long career as a women's apparel designer. In the years leading up to her new chapter in real estate, she was an active volunteer and teacher with the Clay Studio in Philadelphia and its Claymobile outreach program. She is currently a volunteer and teacher with the Cheltenham Center for the Arts.
Two passions of mine are real estate and dance, (three if you count my cat, Leyla). I stumbled into real estate while inquiring about a rental in NYC, and through a comedy of errors (I can fill you in over coffee when we meet), I became an agent and I absolutely love it! Being part of this world allows me to help you, buy, sell, or rent your home sweet home. I won't quit until you have the perfect fit.
I hold professionalism and building relationships based on trust as my highest priority. Buying or selling your home is an emotional experience no matter what and I am here to make those bumps as smooth as possible. It is important to me that you see your home not only through an emotional lens, but also as an empowered and educated client. I am your trusted advisor.
I fell in love with Philly's spirit of industry, thriving arts scene, and historic charm. I left NYC and have been putting the queen in Queen Village for the past 8 years! When I am not touring homes, consulting on getting a home listing ready, or keeping closings on track, you will find me with my dancing shoes on. In my past life, I was the manager of Society Hill Dance Academy, and have continued my love of all types of dance over the years. I'm often spotted anywhere you'll find burlesque or cutting the rug at Ballroom Concierge. Hitting the town also involves a hang with friends at Tattooed Mom or ordering too much sushi at Fat Salmon (wait, can you ever order too much sushi?).
Come say hi to me at an open house, give me a call or drop me an email or text. I am here to help and can not wait to meet and get started!

Coming off a 32-year career as a founding partner and technology chief at TLA Entertainment Group, I decided to follow my love of houses, buildings, interior space and people into the real estate business. As a partner at TLA, I was intimately involved in searching out, designing and building over seven retail locations, two warehouses, four offices, and the Roxy Screening Rooms on Sansom Street. These projects have led me into some of the more unique locations in Philadelphia and now I am excited to bring my passion for all of the beautiful, interesting and quirky spaces our city has to offer and while I help you find your first home, your next home, or the place you'll build or expand your business.
I decided to become a real estate agent after watching my wife and real estate agent, Lisette Tarragano, help people and families find their dream homes. I wanted to contribute and make people smile; navigating clients to find their closest fit. Helping people is my primary goal.
