Adam graduated from University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Biology. He has worked in quality control roles in various manufacturing industries including food, pharmaceutical, and plastics. In June of 2022 he joined the CaP team, performing various production tasks as needed. When not at work, Adam is generally enjoying anything from a quiet movie night to a quick weekend in the Wisconsin Dells.
Colin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and started his career at Cytophil Inc. as QA Associate in 2014. He joined CaP Biomaterials as a Production Technician in late 2015, to be promoted to Production Supervisor in 2021 and then Production Manager in 2023. He has been involved in the process development and engineer of most product CaP manufactures for its customers. You can observe him in his natural habitat playing competitive softball, subpar golf or video games. Colin
Jamie graduated from Alverno College in December of 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry. She joined CaP Biomaterials in 2018. At work, Jamie uses a variety of equipment, procedures and analytical instruments to manufacture and analyze calcium phosphate materials. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.
Jon joined CaP in 2022 to support its growth and work on customer focused R&D and projects. An alumnus of Marquette University, Jon has a strong background in biomedical engineering, biomechanics, & biomaterials and brings extensive experience in bone grafts, bone cements, and injectable products, as well as associated medical device applications. Jon has a demonstrated history across a multitude of departmental roles within an ISO 13485 certified QMS and is skilled in leading cross-functional teams to bring design & manufacturing projects to market. Outside of work, Jon is an avid sports fan and aspiring amateur chef, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Keith Orlowski graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a B.S. in Integrated Science/Business. Keith joined CaP Biomaterials in 2008 as an intern and was subsequently hired on as a production technician, contributing to the development of calcium phosphate products and processes encompassed under CaP's capabilities. After several years, Keith transitioned to the Production Manager for two years and is currently active as the Operations Manager, committing to continuous learning and achieving goals within the organization. Keith enjoys living an active lifestyle alongside his wife and two boys, with a love of the outdoors acquired through family generations with outdoor passions.
Kim earned her B.S. degree and M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She brings a wealth of experience following a 30+ year career as a leader in healthcare. Kim began her career in health information management and progressed into non-clinical hospital operations. Kim and her husband decided it was time to scale back their careers, and she chose to come on board at CaP Biomaterials. Kim's breadth of experience is of benefit to CaP, as she spent her career on the customer side of CaP's business and appreciates the customers' point-of-view. In her spare time, Kim and her husband enjoy traveling, enjoying indigenous cuisine, and bringing new recipes home to try in their own kitchen.
Larry earned a BA in chemistry from Northwestern University and a PhD in Chemistry from MIT. One of his graduate student projects resulted in a synthetic blood substitute that was successfully tested in small animals.
His first job was in food preservatives with FMC Corporation, in Princeton NJ. He started a customer service program to learn more about industry needs which led to several new products and several patents. The additives business grew from $3M in annual sales to over $12M in annual sales during his tenure.
Next he took a positon with Coors Biomedical, a division of Coors industries in Golden, CO that was a pioneer in providing calcium phosphate medical devices. This marked a transition from products to help modify postmortem biochemistry (food) to products to serve living biochemistry. Accomplishments included developing scaled up production methods for various specialized calcium phosphate materials.
From Coors, Larry went to CAM Implants in the Netherlands and helped to transform it from a University curiosity to a serious contender in producing biocompatible implant coatings and calcium phosphate bone grafting products. Under a license agreement, he transferred CAM's HA implant coating technology to APS Materials in Dayton Ohio in order to increase CAM's presence in the US, and in turn, transferred APS's titanium coating technology to CAM.
CAM eventually was purchased by Osteotech, a NJ processor of grafts from donated human bone and tendon tissue. Osteotech was the first commercial provider of demineralized bone tissue which is a naturally osteoinductive material. Larry helped Osteotech develop processing methods to better preserve the active growth factors in demineralized bone while at the same time enhancing its biological safety profile. He also patented several improved methods for machining spinal fusion implants from human bone under aseptic conditions. Larry eventually was made Principle Technology Officer of Osteotech.
In 2006, Larry founded CaP Biomaterials along with Bill Hubbard; a former colleague from Coors Biomedical. In 2012, Larry left Osteotech to concentrate full time on developing CaP Biomaterials. Since then Larry has overseen the expansion of CaP from producing a limited product line to producing a full line of standard and customized calcium phosphate biomaterials. During his career, Larry has been an inventor or co-inventor in more than 80 US patents.
Hobbies include landscaping, and restoring and modifying classic cars.
Roy Owens has more than 16 years of GMP operations experience in both Food and Pharmaceutical industries. Before joining Cap, he held various production positions at AAI Pharma Services, Royal DSM and King Pharmaceuticals. In his free time, he enjoys playing poker, collecting vintage toys, and spending quality time with his family.
Virgil graduated from the Army, as Soldier of the Cycle in January 2009 for Human Resources. Previously to becoming a Production Technician at CaP Biomaterials in 2018, he served as Lead Inventory Control at Sysco. Currently at CaP he specializes in producing high volume products and is trained in most processes. You can catch him in the sand playing volleyball, out on the golf course or curled up in bed with his favorite book in hand.
