Mates in Mind describe their story: "During our first two years of action, we enabled hundreds of organisations within the construction sector to transform the mental health culture of their workplaces. Through our tailored programme, we have supported organisations of all sizes to start vital conversations about mental health. Due to our successes within the construction sector, we have gained recognition across a range of industries... Our members come from a diverse array of public and private organizations in and around London, all united by a commitment to the highest standards of Health and Safety at work. By promoting these standards, we aim to minimize the risk of injury and ill-health... We are a registered charity, and a fully independent group managed by an Executive Committee in accordance with our Constitution. Our previous Chairmen, Secretaries, Treasurers, and Honorary Members are recorded on the Roll of Honour.
