Gatton Park has been home to a variety of people over the years. Since the very beginning the parkland has undergone a great many physical changes. The owners have been of local importance and the Park has been associated with numerous interesting events as a result. The most recent change in ownership, in 1948, has led to a focus of the Park shift from a private home to an educational environment.
