Alan is a founding partner of BPTW and has been at the forefront of building our reputation as experts in the residential sector. He specialises in delivering project strategies for major regeneration programmes and urban design schemes.
Alan is committed to delivering economically, environmentally, and socially responsible design programmes and plays an integral role in designing commercially successful developments, leading on public engagement, and overseeing major regeneration projects.
He is passionate about creating opportunities for young people and has been instrumental in developing BPTW's Careers in the Built Environment programme, providing young people invaluable Practice experience.

Alessandro is experienced in delivering strategic solutions to large regeneration projects in the pre-planning stage. His projects often require strong stakeholder management, with involvement from the residents, local community, and local council.
He has a real interest in the design of buildings, testing various design options, and is part of BPTW's design review and spatial principles working groups.
With a passion for good design, Alessandro values creativity and optimism in his team, encouraging them to visit new projects to stay up to date with design trends and explore different types of architecture. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the diverse range of buildings and exhibitions that the city has to offer.

Anna is involved in a wide range of projects, from large masterplanning schemes to low-rise suburban architecture, encompassing residential, student residences, community, and extra care schemes.
She has strong experience in stock appraisals, working with Housing Associations and Local Authorities on existing sites and homes, developing methodology tools that assist clients in effectively prioritising areas of interventions.
Playing a vital role in our work for Gravesham Borough Council, Anna has contributed to the delivery of their affordable housing programme. She is passionate about creating user-centric spaces that cater to the evolving needs of diverse demographics, with a particular interest in later living design. This is evident through her involvement with Gravesham Borough Council's independent living over 55's scheme, which has been recognised by the Housing Design Awards.
As a mental health first aider, Anna holds the well-being of team members in high regard and fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment. She is passionate about environmental conservation, not only in her project work but also through her hobby of scuba diving, where she loves to explore the ocean's biodiversity and wildlife.

Asri specialises in the concept and technical design of large-scale masterplans and the delivery of successful planning permissions for small to medium local authority residential programmes.
She has delivered projects to high sustainability standards and has strong experience in effective resident and community engagement.
Asri has led on a variety of projects including a number of different schemes across Cambridge City Centre as well as a regeneration project in Harrow which created 650 new homes.

Caroline specialises in creative design solutions at the pre-planning stage. She manages large-scale masterplans and landmark award-winning developments and has been a driving force for expanding BPTW's presence in Kent, working on projects from Rochester Riverside to Kings Hill.
With a passion for placemaking, Caroline champions design across the practice, influencing through design review. In 2023, she became a member of the Design South East (DSE) Expert Design Review Panel, where she brings her extensive experience in leading residential-led design projects across the South East.
She is an advocate for positive well-being and takes a nurturing approach to leadership, giving her team opportunities to grow and learn.

Chris works in masterplannning and urban design, leading the design codes on large-scale estate redevelopment through to residential-led schemes.
He has experience in designing a housetype range for a major housebuilder and extensive knowledge in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and Off-site Manufacturing (OSM). He was the BPTW project runner for Beechwood Village, 301 homes manufactured volumetrically in a specialist factory, informed by our BIM level 2 protocol.
He helps to run the BPTW software leaders' group and spatial principles working groups, disseminating standard design practices across the office, and promoting good design.
He has a keen eye for detail and sees each project as a puzzle that needs solving. It is no surprise then, that he lends his problem-solving skills to competing in board games with friends.
Dale leads a large team working on complex large-scale mixed tenure residential projects at pre- and post-planning stages in London and Bristol.
He has built strong relationships working closely with clients, contracts and consultants realising projects while rationalising designs to maintain the architectural vision and deliver high-quality homes that meet both the client's and resident's needs.
He has a track record of providing clients with cost effective solutions that do not compromise the architectural quality of the scheme.
Dale leads BPTW's Quality Assurance and Internal Audit Teams, ensuring our continued certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2015. He plays a leading role in numerous Strategic Groups that review and explore best practices, technical compliance, research, and innovation across the practice in key areas of our work ensuring consistency with effective operations that improve outputs and develop efficient methods of working.

Justin is an Architect and Chartered Architectural Technologist. He has led many successful large-scale residential and mixed-use projects up to planning and through completion, including the regeneration of the Heathside and Lethbridge Estates in Lewisham.
He is committed to designing schemes which reflect the aspirations of future residents and the local community, as shown by his work on the landmark regeneration Teviot Estate in Tower Hamlets. The development will provide 1,750 new homes and transform the surrounding area to create new shops, parks, and faith and community facilities. Working closely with the Estate's residents and clients Poplar HARCA and Hill throughout the design development process, he has created a scheme centred around placemaking, sustainability and positive social value.
Justin is a member of the ARB, the RIBA, the RIAI and the CIAT, where he became a Fellow Member in 2021. He was also actively involved in developing the FCIAT pilot process and is currently a Professional Interview Assessor and Fellow Panel Assessor for CIAT. Justin has been a judge at the AT Awards for several years and is currently Chair of the Judging Panel.

- Graphics & Marketing Assistant
With more than 25 years' experience in the built environment, Marks leads our contract group, dealing with appointments and risk management processes across the practice. Driven by a desire to deliver projects of the highest quality and integrity, Mark has also played an integral role in ensuring our processes align with the emerging requirements of the Building Safety Act and regularly provides practice-wide updates on the legislation and its impact. Mark also participates in industry-wide groups around building safety and procurement best practice.
Mark's design ethos is centred around putting residents at the heart of development and he has worked on a number of schemes where a well-considered consultation strategy has enabled planning approval to be secured. This includes a long-standing involvement in the Stockwell Park Regeneration project in Lambeth for Network Homes and SW9 Housing, our work on the Somerville Estate, an estate regeneration scheme of circa 200 affordable homes for Lewisham Homes, and our work for Opendoor Homes in Barnet which saw the delivery of 198 homes across a number of sites.

As BPTW's Design Technology Partner, Mark has been central in building and leading a specialist team dedicated to delivering a comprehensive Building Information Modelling (BIM) and information management service.
Starting his career as an architectural technologist, Mark quickly recognised the potential of technology to transform traditional architectural practices. With over 30 years of experience in the architectural and construction industry, he blends architectural expertise with cutting-edge technological solutions.
Committed to leveraging technology to solve complex architectural challenges, he provides clients with reliable, forward-thinking solutions and supports them to establish a data driven approach to managing information related to designing and maintaining built assets.

Working in post-planning, Melissa specialises in residential design and has a proven track record of delivering technical solutions to some of BPTW's largest post-planning projects.
Managing a large team with many projects, she ensures to keep a one team approach, making sure everyone feels valued and supported to grow in their careers.
She values the importance of knowledge sharing and is a member of BPTW's Building Safety Act and construction principles working groups.
Highly organised and technically driven, she loves the construction side of architecture, getting stuck in on site to consider how designs come to life.

Joining BPTW's growing urban design team in 2024, Naike is a qualified urban designer specialising in town centre masterplans, infill sites, design codes, and design guides.
Taking a holistic approach, she has worked on several estate regeneration schemes, taking part in community and stakeholder engagement. She is particularly interested in working with schools to demonstrate the value of urban design to young people.
Naike is a member of the Urban Design Group Executive Committee and an associate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Neill leads a 25-person strong design group, delivering exemplar mixed-tenure housing schemes that balance quality with affordability.
With two decades of experience, he is an expert in public consultation and residential design, taking an active design role on many of our award-winning projects across London and the South East.
He is involved with industry thought leadership groups, including The Housing Forum and Future of London Council-Led Housing Network and Expert Panel, regularly presenting on the development potential of sites across London and the South East to local authorities and registered providers.

Olivia specialises in the early RIBA stages of large-scale residential and mixed-use projects, as well as custom build, taking designs through from concept to planning submission.
She has been working on the Rochester Riverside scheme from the early concept stages and has seen the project through to development.
Working closely with the urban design team, she takes a holistic view of the design in the wider context. She is a member of the BPTW spatial planning working group which helps to inform her design decisions, with a strong consideration of how the end user will inhabit the spaces.
As an apprentice mentor, she supports apprentices in her team through their training and career progression.
She loves spending time in nature, from exploring America's national parks to sailing around Britain, as she trains for a day skipper qualification.

Onur is an Architect and certified Passive House Designer with over 20 years of industry experience. He is leading the way in shaping sustainability in the practice through projects such as Hartopp and Lannoy point, LB Hammersmith and Fulham's award-winning landmark passive house scheme.
Focused on technical design and sustainability, he leads BPTW's Construction Principles working group and is a key member of the Sustainability and Building Safety Act working groups, maintaining a practice awareness of legislative change to support clients and their schemes.
As an apprentice mentor, he has supported apprentices in his team on their journey to qualifying as architects, as well as supporting the Architectural Technologists to gain fully chartered membership to CIAT.
Building strong working relationships with clients is a key focus for Onur and he is well recognised for both his professionalism and organisational skills, providing confidence in his expertise.
When Onur is not working, he enjoys walking and spending time with his three young children.
With a focus on large scale residential and mixed-use schemes, Peter leads a team carrying projects from concept stage to detailed design and completion.
Working across projects involving complex site constraints, he has developed a strong understanding of balancing client requirements with local community engagement and planning policies.
Peter has a real passion for improving the link between architectural practice and education to make the industry more accessible for marginalised and underrepresented groups. Recognised for the articles he has written to raise awareness; he holds an Editorial Advisor position. He has been instrumental in guiding BPTW's EDI strategies, spearheading the practice's relationship with the University of Sheffield and London School of Architecture (LSA).
He is also a Part 3 examiner, mentoring several of BPTW's students through their professional studies. He encourages his team to be curious and never be afraid to ask questions, giving them the autonomy to grow their skills.
His teamwork skills extend beyond project work to the pitch, where he enjoys a weekly game of competitive 5-a-side football.

As a Partner at BPTW, Róisín plays a leading role in the delivery of large-scale residential, mixed-use and regeneration projects.
Her ability to manage multiple pre- and post-planning stage projects, successfully lead design and consultant teams, and her strong understanding of the technical aspects of projects has led Róisín to develop excellent working relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
Part of our Design and Technical Quality Strategic group, she conducts project reviews to promote the continual improvement of BPTW's technical work and enhances design quality.
A Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technology, in 2020 Róisín was crowned Architectural Technologist of the Year at CIAT's AT Awards. In 2021, she was also awarded the Alumni of the Year award from Edinburgh Napier University for her dedication to the profession, and in recognition of her efforts to further the careers of the next generation of architectural technologists through a number of mentoring schemes.

Leading BPTW's urban design team, Scott has developed a strong place-based approach to drive new and ambitious urban design and masterplanning projects.
Expanding the practice's capabilities and strengthening a growing portfolio of large-scale projects focusing on regeneration and urban expansion in a range of contexts, he has instilled a design ethos within the team based on exemplar placemaking.
Throughout his career, Scott has collaborated with both private and public sector organisations to develop a rich and varied portfolio of urban design projects, including being the highest-ranking urban designer in the UK Government via Public Practice, leading the delivery of the National Model Design Code testing programme.
He has also contributed and co-authored a range of national publications on innovative design methods to enhance placemaking and suburban densification.
Scott is a Member of the Design South East (DSE) Expert Design Review Panel and a member on the Urban Design Group Executive committee.

Steven joined BPTW in 2019. As a Chartered Accountant Steven has brought his experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory to assist with business strategy and oversee the direction of BPTW's finance department. He has also taken a lead on the resourcing requirements on our projects, working closely with others to ensure our resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. Aside from the numbers, Steve plays a key role in helping make BPTW a great place to work through his oversight of staff welfare initiatives, including encouraging participation in social and sporting activities to promote a healthy work-life balance.
