UKERC is an independent research centre, with researchers based in 13 different institutions throughout the UK. These are: Cardiff University, Imperial College London, Plymouth Marine Laboratory, Science and Technology Facilities Council, University College London, University of Birmingham, University of East Anglia, University of Edinburgh, University of Exeter, University of Leeds, University of Sussex, University of Strathclyde and the University of Warwick... UKERC is funded through UK Research and Innovation, by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and Economic and Social Research Council... UKERC's activities are overseen by a management board consisting of the UKERC Director, Professor Rob Gross, and eight Co-Directors, and is advised by an independent Advisory Board.
