Kate joined the company in 2003 when her twin daughters started nursery. Kate started as an Office Assistant, dealing with administrative duties and assisting the accounts department and her mother, Gill, who was the Office Manager.
In 2007 Kate took the reigns as Office Manager and has been responsible for organising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of our office. Whilst gaining invaluable experience in the office, Kate has recently obtained a Level 2 AAT qualification and Level 3 in Sage Payroll.
Keith commenced working for the company in 1968 along with starting a City and Guilds apprenticeship in Carpentry. He learnt his trade and invaluable experience off other members of the J J Jones team and his late father Lewis.
In 1976 Keith and his wife Gill became directors of the company and took over the day-to-day business operations from his father. Under Keith's direction the company grew and fast established a reputation for high quality building work.
Keith, now Managing Director, plays a pivotal role both on site and in the head office with his years of experience in the construction industry.
Paul joined the family firm in 1995 after he finished Secondary school. Paul worked on site learning his trades and also attended St Austell College where he obtained an NVQ Level 1,2 & 3 in Carpentry and Craft Masonry, Principle of Construction and became a trained plant and Machine Operator.
In 2001 the company built its own purpose built offices next to the joinery workshop. Once the offices were complete Paul transitioned across to the office and became a Director of the company.
Paul oversees all operations and ensures that the company remain their reputation for high quality building work, delivered on time, and on budget.
